My work is not a record of the ocean’s topography, but a translation of its psychological weight. While narrative realism seeks to document the precise anatomy of a wave or the literal history of a shoreline, my practice shifts the focus from the physical world to the internal response it evokes. I choose to paint the fleeting moods, atmospheric shifts, and emotional currents of the sea because the ocean is the ultimate mirror for human emotion—vast, unpredictable, and deeply felt.
